RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with ongoing project for development and adoption of database for sourcing of macroeconomic data.
Create documentation for all activities and working with technology staff on database requirements and design and adoption.
Assist with ad hoc economic research, model development, testing.
Develop and maintain risk models or analytical tools.
Provide cross functional support for model implementation, installation and ongoing monitoring.
Identify risks and issues proactively and framing the range of potential outcomes driving the business forward.
Use Python to conduct quantitative analysis, execute model runs, estimate model performance, and validate model results.
Analyze large datasets across systems to reconciliate different results, validate system feeds, and generate reliable data source.
Utilize JIRA/Bitbucket and Git to collaborate across various teams to identify and resolve model and reporting issues, track progress, and conduct version control.
Use SQL in database such as Oracle or MySQL to manipulate large, complex data sets and support user requests.
Work with statistical modeling such as linear regression, time series, and simulation to support, review and challenge model performance.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial and Risk Management, or related; and
2 years of in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Using Python to conduct quantitative analysis, execute model runs, estimate model performance, and validate model results;
Analyzing large datasets across systems to reconciliate different results, validate system feeds, and generate reliable data source;
