Role Description:

We are looking for a Transaction Reporting Controls Analyst to join our Transaction Reporting Control Group (“TRCG”), working in the Enhanced Quality Assurance Function. Our wider TRCG team is around 250 people located in Chester, London, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Mumbai. This specific role will be based in Chester, part of a team of 4 associates. The role is primarily focused on creating and maintaining transaction reporting documentation as input into a central transaction reporting documentation library.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide transaction reporting subject matter expertise as part of the change process to help ensure completeness and accuracy of business requirements for significant regulatory change.
  • As a transaction reporting subject matter expert, you will perform impact assessment of new and changed business (new products, new market infrastructure, new trading infrastructure, new entities etc) and changes to internal and external infrastructure.
  • You will work with internal technology and operations teams to make appropriate changes to systems and processes are made to ensure continued compliance with reporting regulations.
  • You will work with user testing teams to create test packs which appropriately address reporting change requirements and review testing results.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have transaction reporting experience under at least one of these regulations (EMIR, MIFID/MIFIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank, ASIC, MAS, HKTR, and JFSA)
  • You will have effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • You have the ability to handle diverse workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset and think analytically

Skills that will help (optional):

  • Experience working in an Investment Bank or Global Financial Markets would be an advantage
  • Previous experience liaising with diverse global teams would be a plus
