RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop pricing and hedging libraries that are incorporated in tools used by the global equities trading desk.
  • Develop various types of equities risk management analytics, leveraging factor models, and optimization libraries.
  • Develop P&L, profitability, liquidity, and other analytical tools for the trading desk.
  • Analyze big datasets and then present and summarize results to management.
  • Evaluate capital needs of clients and assess market conditions to inform structuring of financial packages.
  • Inform investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions.
  • Research and model equity events including Hedging and Alpha Strategies using large data sets of financial data.
  • Develop optimization libraries to drive incremental value to the business (including risk optimization and optimization of collateral allocation).
  • Perform work required to support regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze client profitability and funding requirements for Equities business.
  • Generate required documentation and testing to support model risk management, ongoing model review, and validation.
  • Perform quantitative analysis of the current markets, trends, and trading strategies and enhance pricing and risk models to incorporate new market or products features.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Quantitative Finance, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering (any) or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Researching and modelling equity events including Hedging and Alpha Strategies using large data sets of financial data;
  • Developing optimization libraries to drive incremental value to the business (including risk optimization and optimization of collateral allocation);
  • Performing work required to support regulatory and compliance requirements;
  • Analyzing client profitability and funding requirements for Equities business;
  • Generating required documentation and testing to support model risk management, ongoing model review, and validation; and,
  • Performing quantitative analysis of the current markets, trends, and trading strategies and enhancing pricing and risk models to incorporate new market or products features.
