Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing complex/strategic product(s) and developing strategies across functional groups and/or within a product group. Key responsibilities include managing the full marketing cycle and financial responsibilities for specific product areas and driving innovative idea generation for the products under management. Job expectations may include leading a team to ensure that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.
Responsibilities:
The Treasury Product Manager will coordinate multiple efforts and initiatives across Core Cash Management products in Mexico, aligning activities with all necessary internal stakeholders, monitoring the product offering and being aware of trends and opportunities
Project Management. Lead projects under Agile to develop new product or functionalities for Cash Management
Analyze industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
Partner with internal and industry stakeholders, including regulators on all matters related to payments
Complete understanding and knowledge of the local regulation
Support all regulatory implementation projects and ensure regulatory requirements are clearly understood. Escalate issues or conflicts in legal and regulatory requirements as appropriate.
Review market and regulatory trends in Mexico and recommend improvements to existing business strategies, active dialogue with country compliance to stay ahead of all regulatory changes and impact to the business.
Closely interact with Tech teams and support areas to list and design product requirements, people and processes associated to the products and enhancements developed.
Understand and influence the end-to-end delivery of assigned Cash Management from point of sales through implementation, operations, servicing, billing and reporting, in order to protect/grow revenue and margin.
Required skills:
5+ years of experience in product management or ownership within banking or financial services.
Deep knowledge of Mexico Central Bank jurisdiction, as well other regulations applicable do GPS Business, such as CBNV, CECOBAN, etc.
Good working knowledge of core transaction services products, including payments, liquidity, receivables, including but not limited to SPEI, SPID, TEF, SWIFT.
Technical skills, including familiarity with banking platforms, H2H, APIs, communication protocols, file formats (XML) and fintech trends.
Ability to engage with other product and technical experts to understand operational and commercial aspects of regulatory change.
Strong team player and communicator with ability to effectively manage key partnerships with LOB and non-LOB colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish/English (verbal and written).
Sense of ownership and urgency, proactive and hands-on approach.
Ability to lead and handle sensitive discussions.
Highly organized with ability to multitask and manage to multiple deadlines.
Comfortable pushing back while also acting as a solution focused advisor to product.
