The Team:

As we continue to grow our platform, we are looking for an Associate to join the UK Corporate Banking Team. In this role you will help in client coverage and support our growth ambitions.

Responsibilities:

As a core member of the UK Corporate Banking team you will:

• Assist Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination and execution across a range of products

• Support the growth agenda by helping to identify, target and onboard new UK clients

• Prepare pitch materials, including detailed corporate finance analysis

• Support the marketing and execution of range of products including bonds, loans, leases, FX, rates and treasury solutions

• Help to coordinate client engagement globally, and across full product suite

• Ensure a solid knowledge of our clients, the industries in which they operate and how the bank helps support their strategic and day to day needs

• Work with our credit and risk partners as it relates to our client engagements

• Partner with Investment Banking teams on client coverage and origination

What we are looking for:

• Confident inter-personal skills, with ability to build client and internal relationships

• Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

• Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness

• Ambitious, with a desire to succeed

• Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

• Solid corporate finance and analytical skills

• Experience in either Corporate Banking, or a related area (e.g. Investment Banking, or one of the product areas)

• Good knowledge of Corporate Banking product set and the UK client base (including midcap space)
