Bank of America is looking for a Senior Technology Manager to lead the Dublin based Cyber Security Technology application development team. The successful individual will assist with project planning and delivery, technical direction, hiring, issue management, stakeholder updates and day-to-day running of the Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, self-starting individual to work on high profile Enterprise - Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) applications and cutting edge technologies.
The Cyber Security Technology team is distributed globally and is part of the broader Global Information Security team. This team is responsible for internally developed IGA products servicing the needs of the Enterprise with respect to Authorization, Segregation of Duties, Access Profiling and core integration technologies.
Responsibilities:
Builds and manages teams informing workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives.
Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met.
Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain. Building skill sets within the team and working with the wider organization to provide direction and solve problems.
Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills.
Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders.

Core Skills
Proven experience in Application Development delivering large scale projects with local and distributed teams.
The ideal candidate will have a love for problem solving, great partnership and communication skills, the ability to envision, communicate and execute strategic planning and remediation of issues.
Good knowledge of governance processes surrounding Application Management (Business Continuity, Risk Deliverables, etc.).
Domain expert in Identity and Access Management Processes, Technology and Governance requirements
Ability to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zones.
Ability to partner across multiple teams (Production Support, Development Team, CTO) to execute.
Ability to positively drive work forward and create a result orientated team environment.
Excellent inter-personal, communication, ability to work well with multiple teams; proven experience in communicating to peers and leaders.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, while managing compressed timelines.
Previous Project Management experience and working knowledge of SDLC.
Must be highly organized and can work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Must be comfortable being held accountable for delivery.
Desired Skills:
Ensure that the design and engineering approach of complex features, are consistent with the larger portfolio solution.
Help define the technology tool stack for the solution by conducting research, prototyping and POCs, aligning with wider platform goals.
Improve software testing process by evaluating and adapting new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s).
Improve delivery pipelines and release management by focusing on improvements to Continuous Integration and Delivery tooling and processes. Engage with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline.
Support/mentor/coach team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance and maintainability– e.g. pairing, code reviews.
Constantly seek better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo.
Prior experience working within Agile methodologies / frameworks.
Experience with Identity Governance & Administration tooling and functionality e.g., Ping, ForgeRock, SailPoint, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, ABAC
Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, Angular/React, Typescript, CSS/HTML
Deep knowledge and experience working with technology infrastructure including Windows, Active Directory, LDAP, Unix/Linux, databases, authentication protocols, and containers.
