Process Overview
Process begins by focusing on reducing loss exposure by reviewing events that are determined to be risky to the Bank or our customers. Fraud analyst perform reviews of events that are alerted into queues based on rules created by our Strategies partners. Process ends when the event is either confirmed valid or confirmed fraud and remediation steps are completed, including when applicable beginning the claims process. Process also classifies losses incurred to the bank through overdrawn account and check fraud claims between policy & performance.
Job Description
Responsible to lead a minimum span of 40-50 FTEs including team managers and ICs with the focus to generate operational efficiency and achieve business goals along with employee development and growth. This role requires to collaborate horizontally and vertically to support strategic decision of the business.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the Detection Processes
- Demonstrates ability to build and sustain relationships, manage multiple priorities, engage employees and lead change
- Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise
- Responsible for Employee Engagement & Development
- Provide oversight and direction to the immediate team in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Focus on employee retention
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified vision and core values of the organization.
- Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings and appropriate emails
- Manage Corp/FCRA audit
- Establish and maintain relevant Control and Governance
- Manages risk effectively
- Initiate disciplinary procedure in conjunction with HR guidelines
- Take action to address the concerns of the stakeholders
- Manage highly analytical deliverables and work One to One with Senior Business Leaders
- Lead and influence the matrix that supports business strategic direction for the team.
- Contribute through thought leadership with Subject Matter Expert knowledge
- Lead and execute project deliverables; oversee team projects and direct group efforts as needed without any overview
- Work on business decision support with Senior Business Leaders end to end without any overview
- Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels
- Partner closely with stakeholders LOB (as needed) to support reporting routines.
- Lead month-end close and all other associated management reporting.
- Oversee Forecast/Plan and support business reviews strategic direction of the team.
