Process Overview

Global Markets Technology provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets business including Equity, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement, Client services and liquidity management processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

A Senior Delivery Lead will be responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of programs of varied sizes, involving multiple feature teams or multiple applications across the organization and drive delivery of projects within the liquidity business. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, creating/managing and coordinating the project plan, managing delivery readiness across teams, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the users’ expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility would be to design, develop / enhance and support SoUsA application

  • Should be very strong hands on developer.
  • Work closely with Product Owner and users to design solutions by looking into product backlog
  • Build excellent relationships across technology and user communities within the group
  • Deliver high quality code to meet application standards
  • Coordinate with global business users during entire project / program
  • Follow Scrum process & able to focus on Operational Excellence.
  • Proven team player with the ability to foster a team environment.
  • Review product backlog, work in a scrum method and manage scrum ceremonies
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to Seniors, Peers and Team Members
  • They would be working and supporting the product during India Hours and early UK hours

Requirements

Education- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in IT/computers

Certifications if any- N/A

Experience Range- 15+ years in delivering transformational projects

Foundational skills

Ability to deliver transformational IT projects in large tech/business/financial industry Great interpersonal and communication skills Being proactive, avoiding follow ups and being on top of the game Design thinking capability Knowledge of AI/ML in data science/analytics would be an added advantage

Desired skills

  • Should be able to manage projects independently, oversee and guide work done by developers/testers in the liquidity domain. Should be able to oversee work of 1 or more feature teams focused on business, technical and architectural enhancements to liquidity. Have knowledge of regulations around the treasury business or liquidity management
  • Should have a strong understanding of Quartz/Python and processes used for the liquidity and being able to provide technical oversight on code changes by team and review changes made by team
  • Candidate should have worked in an agile background and should be familiar with the ceremonies used in development.
  • Familiarity with TDD approach and exposure to automated testing in Python is an added advantage.
  • Experience and hands-on knowledge of Global Capital Markets and Treasury/Liquidity management domains, with knowledge of liquidity business, terminologies and key regulations around liquidity domain
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge, with ability to test changes made by team, review data, present to management, users and other stakeholders to get buy-in for release
  • Write feature tests to support team's changes using Test driven development (TDD) / Business Driven Development (BDD)

Work Timings- 11.30 AM to 8.30 PM
