Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Treasury Management Support on Capital, Liquidity and Balance Sheet Management, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting.
Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR) function, a part of the Global Financial Control organization within the CFO Group, is responsible for accurate filing of non-liquidity related financial regulatory reports including call reports, cross-Border BEA and state fillings, Broker Dealer reporting, FINREP, COREP, AnaCredit & Statistical reporting.
Job Description*
The GRR US Regulatory Reporting team ensures completeness, accuracy and timely submission of key reports to the US Regulators. This also includes ensuring the processes are executed and documented in a consistent manner. The team also partners with front-line units, control functions and governance teams to drive this objective.
The candidate would be part of the GRR US team and would be responsible for preparation, monitoring controls, conformance and partnering with governance for key broker dealer reports. This would also include ensuring smooth regulatory change implementation and collaborating with Technology and Data team.
The candidate would need to build strong working relationships across teams and have an internal-control mindset to allow for review and address challenges in report preparation. Strong organizational, communication, technical skills, and attention to detail are a must. The candidate should be able to execute, influence, and lead change where needed.
Broker dealer reporting team supports daily and monthly activities to ensure compliance with Regulation 15c3-3 and 15c3-1. The scope of reporting also includes preparation of reports on Swap Dealer entities
Responsibilities*
Regulatory Reporting is seeking a highly motivated individual seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise. The candidate will be responsible for preparation of various regulatory reports, documentation, interpretation and communication of regulatory reporting requirements, and maintenance of reporting data dictionaries. The scope includes reporting requirements as prescribed in Regulatory instructions and other regulatory guidance and definitions of data attributes/elements utilized in reports; mapping of source data files from data providers to reportable lines on the schedules; data provider documentation, gap analysis, logging of issues and sign off/approvals from key business partners. Manages communication and relationships with our business partners to ensure consistent documentation and understanding of reporting requirements. Assist in issue evaluation efforts including identification, remediation, monitoring and escalation activities. This role will be focused on key FINRA and SEC regulations applicable to Broker Dealer entities like 15c3-1 and 15c3-3.

• Ensure timely completion and submission of daily, weekly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports
• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring completeness of process work papers and related documentation.
• Variance analysis, ensuring the compliance to SEC and FINRA requirements.
• Independently handle calls with the senior management, Audit and Compliance teams, Regulators etc.
• Understand control framework, products, changes in business impact to outputs.
• Drive operational excellence by coordinating with upstream and downstream partners to ensure holistic efficiencies.
• Identify issues and isolate the drivers to define remediation path along with compensatory controls.
• Participate in efforts to streamline processes and make better use of emerging technology.
• Interact as needed with teams across the bank, including various Lines of Defense, external agencies, and other control groups.
• Assist in execution of GRR Governance and Control priorities such as spreadsheet controls implementation, training, reporting of metrics, regulatory change management.
• Proficient with working on various systems and applications and understand the data flows in the context of specific product domains viz. securities, investments, derivatives etc
• Be a quick learner and possess intellectual curiosity and proactively investigate issues
• Strive for quality and accuracy and have the dependability necessary to meet strict quarterly deadlines

- CWA/ CPA /MBA (Finance) – to be considered if candidate has relevant experience

Foundational Skills*
- Broad understanding of bank products (loans, securities, cash) and a good understanding of regulatory reporting.
- Good Accounting and reporting skills
- Ability to work with stakeholders across teams, build consensus and execute strategic objectives.
- Awareness of Reporting tools like Axiom and regulatory instructions.
- Good technical skills; sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Awareness and exposure to any of ET tools like Alteryx, Tableau and SQL.
- Ability to think analytically and challenge historical assumptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to change.

- US regulatory Broker Dealer Report preparation under SEC Rule 15c3-1 or 15c3-3/other regulatory report preparation or review experience

Work Timings*
- 12.30 PM to 11.30 PM (flexibility for any 9 hour shift within this window), Occasional stretch basis report requirements and US Stakeholder support needs
