Japan Debt Syndicate / DCM – Analyst / Associate

As a member of the Japan Debt Syndicate / Debt Capital Markets team, you will play a key role in the origination, structuring, syndication, pricing, and execution of a broad range of debt capital markets transactions.

These include domestic bond offerings, Samurai bonds and other offshore JPY bond issuances, as well as international debt offerings across global capital markets.

Working closely with corporate, financial institution, sovereign, and supranational issuers, investors, and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful execution of high-profile financing transactions while helping clients achieve their strategic funding objectives.

Key responsibilities include conducting financial and market analysis, preparing client presentations and marketing materials, supporting business origination efforts, and managing syndication and transaction execution processes.

The role offers significant exposure to a diverse range of global clients and transactions across both Japanese and international capital markets, while providing the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across regional and global platform teams.

Success in this position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills. You will engage regularly with clients and collaborate closely with professionals across investment banking, sales, trading, research, and other product groups.

Given the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the business, the ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of execution is essential.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity for motivated professionals to develop deep expertise in debt capital markets, gain exposure to complex and high-profile transactions, and build a long-term career within a highly collaborative and internationally oriented environment.
