The Holly Springs Salamanders are a member of the Coastal Plain League. The CPL is a 15 team Collegiate Summer Baseball League ranging from Virginia to Georgia.
We are looking for a Baseball Usher to be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by assisting fans with seating, directions, and stadium policies. Ushers help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all guests attending the game.
Timeline: May 19th – August 8th
Compensation: $10/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the stadium and provide a warm welcome.
Check tickets and guide fans to their assigned seats.
Monitor seating areas to ensure guests are in the correct sections.
Provide directions and stadium information, including restrooms, concessions, and exits.
Enforce stadium rules and safety policies, including prohibited items and behavior guidelines.
Assist fans with special needs, including wheelchair accessibility and other accommodations.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor seating or crowd-related issues.
Assist in evacuations or emergency situations by following established safety procedures.
Report security concerns, incidents, or unruly behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Help maintain cleanliness in assigned seating areas before, during, and after games.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service, hospitality, or event experience is a plus.
Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the stadium.
Comfortable working in large crowds and handling high-pressure situations.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on game schedules.
Work Environment:
Outdoor stadium setting with exposure to various weather conditions.
High-energy, fast-paced atmosphere with large crowds.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy baseball, interacting with people, and contributing to a positive game-day experience.
