Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, HRIS and Projects to lead key HR initiatives, optimize HR systems, and serve as a versatile contributor across various HR functions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive impactful HR projects, enhance efficiency through HRIS optimization, and adapt as a utility player to support evolving organizational needs.

- Lead HR Initiatives: Oversee and execute HR projects related to talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and process improvements. Be a leader in identifying which potential projects would drive the most impact.
- Full HRIS Application Ownership: Oversee relationship with vendor, manage contract, system administration & support, system configuration and upgrade/patch management, full scope responsibility for project success when implementing new modules with system, Security/Access Management, Analytics/Dashboarding, and Training.
- Optimize HRIS Systems: Assess “gap analysis” on as-is vs. best practice utilization of the system, Enhance HR technology usage, improve data integrity, and streamline system functionality to maximize efficiency.
- Serve as a Utility Player: Support various HR functions, adapt to shifting priorities, and provide expertise across multiple domains as needed.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with leadership to ensure alignment of HR strategies with business objectives.
- Manage Change & Process Improvements: Partner with Center of Excellence (COE) leaders to support organizational change efforts, implement best practices, and continuously improve HR processes. Document HR related standard operating procedures in partnership with COE owners.
- Ensure Compliance & Reporting: Maintain HR policy adherence, regulatory compliance, and accurate data reporting. Ensure data governance and audits in addition to compliance with data privacy regulations. Recommend and develop reports available with new solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of HR leadership experience with a focus on project management and HR systems.
- Expertise in HRIS optimization, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to pivot and support various HR functions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in HR technology and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with leading HR technology platforms, including ADP and system integrations.
- Track record of successfully driving HR transformations and change management initiatives.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments while balancing multiple priorities.

- This role is located in Raleigh, NC, and is an onsite position.
- Occasional travel to other local CBC sites may be required for meetings, training, or project implementation (less than 10%).
- Work is performed in a typical office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting at a desk) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read and analyze data on a computer screen and in written form.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and focus in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret data, and implement solutions.
