Overview:
The Seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor supports the day-to-day operation of concessions and hospitality areas during events. This role assists with inventory, staff coordination, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and guest-focused environment.
This is a hands-on, event-driven position ideal for someone with prior food & beverage or hospitality experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting—especially in a baseball or live event atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Operations & Inventory Support
- Assist with stocking and preparing concession stands and storage areas before events
- Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicate low stock needs
- Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Support basic inventory counts and product tracking as needed
Team & Staff Support
- Provide on-site supervision and guidance to hourly staff during events
- Assist with training new employees on basic procedures and service standards
- Help ensure staff are following company policies and health regulations
- Address minor guest or staff concerns and escalate issues when needed
Facility & Equipment
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of concession areas, storage rooms, and workspaces
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with basic setup and operation of point-of-sale (POS) systems
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of experience in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality preferred
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable and able to take direction while working independently when needed
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office is helpful
Work Schedule & Requirements:
- Seasonal, event-based schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Hours will vary based on event schedule (typically part-time, with potential for long shifts on event days)
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed
Work Environment:
- Stadium and warehouse settings with indoor and outdoor conditions
- Fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere during events
