Overview:

The Food & Beverage Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting game day operations by recruiting, scheduling, and managing nonprofit group staffing for concession stands and food service areas throughout the ballpark. This position is responsible for coordinating both hourly staff and nonprofit fundraising groups to ensure proper coverage and a high-quality guest experience. This role also supports payroll processes, training, and operational communication between staff and leadership.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Aids in the execution of a successful nonprofit fundraising group program.
  • Trains nonprofit group members in operation of a concession stand, food sanitation, alcohol and customer service.
  • Performs payroll functions for hourly staff including but not limited to tip data collection and time card checks
  • Calculates nonprofit group commissions.
  • Schedules gameday staff for all events
  • Checks gameday staff in for their shift and distribute/maintain uniforms
  • Listen to internal and external guest concerns and issues, resolve those that can be and inform the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintaining compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in recruiting associates
  • 1 year experience as a trainer
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office program.
  • Ability to communicate in writing or verbally and receive the same.
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or event operations.
  • Experience working with nonprofit groups or volunteer organizations.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems or workforce management tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the stadium for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for administrative and operational tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a loud, fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a stadium environment with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays based on game and event schedules.
  • Extended or irregular hours may be required during peak season.
