We are looking for friendly and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Baseball Ticket Scanner. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting game-day experience while providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time, seasonal, game day position.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Greet guests warmly and scan tickets using electronic scanning devices to verify entry.
- Ensure tickets are valid and assist with any scanning or access issues.
- Direct guests to appropriate seating areas, customer service booths, or other stadium locations as needed.
- Monitor entry points to prevent unauthorized access and address any security concerns.
- Provide information about stadium policies, seating arrangements, and game-day promotions.
- Work closely with security and event staff to maintain a safe and organized entry process.
- Assist guests with mobility challenges or special access needs.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while handling large crowds.

- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the entire duration of a shift (typically 4-6 hours per game, with potential for doubleheaders or extended events).
- Must be able to remain standing at a designated gate or station with limited opportunity to sit.
- Requires frequent repetitive hand and arm motions for scanning tickets, tearing stubs, and directing guests.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or carry light items (under 20 lbs), such as a box of supplies, a stanchion, or a signage stand.
- Needs the ability to bend, stoop, or reach to assist guests, pick up items, or manage entryway equipment.
- Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to efficiently handle tickets, operate a handheld scanner or tablet, and make quick, accurate exchanges.
Work Conditions:

- Hours are entirely event driven. This requires absolute availability for all home games, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts typically begin 60-90 minutes before gates open and may extend through the end of the game. Flexibility for special events, rain delays, or double-headers is required.
- Must adhere to all safety and security protocols, including bag check policies and crowd management procedures. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the team.
