This technician may also organize equipment and examine pieces for defects or malfunctions. </p> <p>More information about this field is covered in the Central Sterile Processing Continuing Education course. This course introduces the primary responsibilities of a sterile processing technician and covers the principles of sterilization and disinfection in the workplace as well as distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </section>
