Welders and cutters are experts in aligning and then welding metal pieces with flame-cutting and other tools and being able to detect any defects in the product. Those who like physical activities and can keep their work organized tend to excel in this profession.</p> <p>The Welding Technology curriculum at Durham Tech provides students with the tools they need for this line of work. The course load commonly includes blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding inspection, and math.
