The Role

The Alternative Investments Product Area of the SP&CE domain is looking for candidates that demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, program execution, , analytical, and problem-solving skills and accountability to manage large, multi-application, multi-BU programs. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, monitor, record and communicate progress for these programs, ensure successful execution and delivery, and characterize status and results for senior executive leadership. The immediate program responsibility will be focus on the Alts modernization project and then expanding into third party integration project. The program has visibility at the very highest executive levels.

We are looking for an individual who will blend a deep level of expertise in program management and a passion for delivering results. You will partner with other Core Brokerage Platform Technology leaders to develop and implement a detailed plan to enhance CBPT platforms to replace our existing Alts platform and build out a new workstation that meets the needs of OSG. You will elevate data for use in executive-level presentations, monitor progress against plans, and report on key performance indicators. You will build trust and key working relationships with a distributed team, finance partners and business leaders. In addition, your responsibilities include:

  • Driving success against program goals by understanding program strategy setting and tracking objectives & key performance metrics

  • Collaborating and influencing partners and senior leaders to drive business outcomes

  • Developing and delivering clear and compelling written communications, tailored to each audience

  • Consulting and advising leadership on insights to stay aligned with program goals

  • Communicating large, sophisticated problems and solutions at the right level for senior consumption and decision making as the liaison between development teams and leadership

  • Responding to rapid changes in information, process & direction, and sequencing work to meet key dates

  • Managing key dependencies and decision points in the program plan

  • Managing program to ensure deliverables are produced, and partnering with stakeholders to obtain sign-offs

  • Ensuring that squads manage feature rollouts and operational handoffs

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in technology delivery, technology portfolio management and planning, and/or large complex program management experience, balancing partner needs with program objectives
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills, including an ability to build relationships effectively with peers, all levels of management, and associates.
  • Superb communication and influencing skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to work across functional boundaries and interact, influence, and work optimally with various levels of management and peers
  • Strong Agile/scrum program management and leadership skills; eager to learn and adapt every day
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and resource management skills to work with technical and business partners and highly technical development teams across multiple US regions and globally
  • A strategic and innovative mentality that blends financial services acumen and technology delivery
  • Problem solving with focus on delivery execution and the quality of outcomes
  • A proven ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment with multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Possibly required Series 99 licensing within 120 days of hire
