Job Description:

The Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Salesforce on the Business Enablement Salesforce Engineering Team, you will be immersed in every aspect of system delivery. Your independent voice will ensure that quality is engineered into the product. You will assist system analysis and will contribute to the system design. You will produce test plan, test cases, test data and perform test case executions. This role will support front-line triage of issues found during execution and retesting of defects through resolution. You will work closely with Product Owner and Architect in establishing test automation strategy and roadmap for execution. You will lead and support the development of test automation. Your contributions will result in a fully test automated product which will have direct impact on the data quality and user experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Salesforce.com testing which is developed or customized in Sales cloud and Service cloud

  • Minimum 5+ year of testing experience in Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce configuration, Integration and Customization projects

  • Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Lifecycle using agile principles in a scaled agile framework

  • You understand all aspects of testing (unit testing, acceptance testing, etc.)

  • Work with the team to identify suitable automation frameworks and develop automation tests

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required

  • Automated testing using Provar, Java, JUnit or similar tools

  • Hands-on working experience with building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins

  • Experience in integrating testing of Salesforce with relational databases, SOAP/REST API, 3rd party platforms, and Salesforce.com partner applications

  • Assist and collaborate in non-functional testing (like performance, Security, Compliance) for Salesforce UI and API during release cycles

  • Strong testing skills in Salesforce standard object, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, validations, Flows, custom Tabs, Reports and various other components as per application requirements

  • Hands-on working experience with defining and implementing test strategies, test scenarios, test data requirements and steps for automated and functional testing

  • Hands-on working experience with system analysis and data integrations

  • Experience testing Salesforce, Saas integrations, web and custom applications, etc

  • You understand all aspects of testing (unit testing, acceptance testing, etc.)

  • Experience working with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on Product and Sprint backlogs

  • Hands-on experience with Jira tool to support test plan, test case and test execution

  • You are self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented

  • Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to resolve issues proactively and/or identify approaches to solutions.

  • Adaptable, self-motivated, problem solver with flexibility to adapt to frequent changes.

  • You are passionate and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
