The Role

Are you inspired by complex technological challenges in a unique business domain? We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and deploying innovative products and enterprise capabilities that support our family engagement focused web applications.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to translate vision and ideas into scalable, creative solutions delivered through agile, iterative sprints. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of business processes, explore emerging technologies, and apply your expertise to drive the success of your team and our mission.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements
  • Assisting in defining project scope/backlog
  • Partnering with solution and infrastructure architects, scrum masters, user experience designers, developers, and quality assurance engineers in proposing and aligning on end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Writing of User stories and all the supporting required documentation (Jira/Confluence)
  • Participating in systems triage of defect
  • Working understanding of QA Automation
  • Tracing specifications to requirements to objectives
  • Recommending systems design to achieve requirement objectives
  • Usage of tools like postman, Insomnia to run API requests and analyze responses
  • Participating in research to identify effective new solutions design
  • Evaluating designs of existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability, and cost of ownership
  • Documenting specifications describing solutions
  • Diagramming business processes and system workflows

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of strong Systems Analysis experience with a focus in discovering and designing new innovative solutions with latest technologies
  • Experience in software development in an Agile delivery environment and deep understanding of the software life cycle stages
  • Keen eye for engineering excellence, innovation, and empowerment
  • Proficiency and eagerness to learn new domains
  • Adept at analyzing existing systems and applications to advise design of new, modern digital products
  • Ability to lead formal and informal presentations in various settings; one-on-one, small, and large groups, with peers, and senior management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and to influence team members and external groups
  • Ability to effectively navigate the organization to achieve outcomes
  • Proven ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Strong investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to be detailed, highly adaptive and committed to quality
  • Strong analytical skills to research and review existing systems and recommend designs
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to the internal partners inside and outside of the Scrum team
  • Experience working with design and testing of APIs, database/SQL, Cloud environments, and exposure to Gen-AI
