Position Description:

Leads the implementation of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) solutions, ensuring they are integrated effectively and monitored for performance and compliance. Conducts and coordinates financial, product, market, technology, and operational research to support business planning. Develops and implements innovative business process reengineering solutions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Develops and executes comprehensive Gen AI adoption strategies, identifying specific use cases and leading implementation efforts. Leads Business Processes Engineering and converts them into Technological functional flows, performing process optimization to arrive at the final target state solution recommendation. Researches, optimizes, develops, and authors solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems. Reverse engineers code to understand business logic and develop prototypes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages Business Partner expectations, technology team alignment, and targeted analysis work.

  • Leads and guides software development, design patterns, and architecture solutioning.

  • Develops and implements streamlined processes incorporating industry best practices and technology solutions (RPA and workflow automation).

  • Develops consumer behavior studies and business proposals, vendor, and industry analysis.

  • Develops and presents compelling business cases to secure buy-in from stakeholders.

  • Creates visualization and data representation models using modern visualization techniques.

  • Conducts analysis of existing brokerage operations, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas ripe for automation.

  • Researches and evaluates emerging technologies, including Cloud computing, data analytics, and automation tools, to identify solutions that enhance brokerage operations.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software.

  • Works with teams to design, develop, and implement new systems and applications that support optimized processes and improved client experience.

  • Leads and mentors a team of analysts focused on process optimization and technology implementation, solution, and user experience design analysis.

  • Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously researching and evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies.

  • Ensures seamless integration of technologies, optimizing data flow, and minimizing disruptions.

  • Leads Software development discussions on technology design patterns across multi-tier full-stack architecture, guides implementation of security, access protocols, and related aspects.

  • Performs detailed data-analytics to support business value driven and ROI and Cost-Benefit calculations.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Systems Analysis (or closely related occupation) performing Business, Systems, Data, Software and Operations Processing analysis in a Retail, Correspondent and Institutional Financial Brokerage environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Systems Analysis (or closely related occupation) performing Business, Systems, Data, Software and Operations Processing analysis in a Retail, Correspondent and Institutional Financial Brokerage environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) implementing and strategizing Gen AI and advanced technologies adoption by building Artificial Intelligence (AI) based applications through integration with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) models for modernizing and accelerating legacy brokerage operations processing -- Complex Document Reviews, Account Setup and Maintenance, Checks Processing, Asset Movement, and Trade Flows.

  • DE creating detailed multi-level business process flows and technology data/control flow charts on Microsoft Visio, DrawIO, UMLet, Miro and BPMN Modeling, using Camunda; performing legacy (Cobol) systems analysis using Google Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and IBM WatsonX; conducting technology solutions feasibility check (using Postman, SOAP UI, Insomnia) and data analytics and dashboarding (using DBeaver, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI).

  • DE deriving a target state business process flow -- analyzing operations processing inefficiencies (paper-printing, manual data-entry, maker-checker reviews, and breaks reconciliation) and designing technology solution by testing AI and Large Language Models -- using Python scripts and Application Program Interfaces (APIs); and prototyping by creating end-to-end user-experience prototype designs using Figma and InVision.

  • DE creating and building front-end applications in Angular Typescript, NodeJS and HTML/CSS using Visual Studio Code; developing middle-tier software components in Python and Java, using IntelliJ and Eclipse; testing NLP and AI libraries using Python scripts in Jupyter Notebook and Conda Environment; SQL querying for data-analytics using DBeaver, PGAdmin, SQL Developer, and Snowflake; performing software deployment using IBM uDeploy, Jenkins for EKS pipelines, AWS Datadog for log management, and AWS Resource Load Balancer and Certificate Management using Venafi.
