The Role
Fidelity Asset Management Solutions (FAMS) is seeking a Senior Angular Software Engineer to design and build microservices and user interfaces that support Asset Allocation products. In this role, you will apply solid software engineering practices across implementation, validation, testing, deployment, and maintenance to deliver tools used by portfolio analysts and portfolio managers. You will also help your team adopt effective engineering practices to ensure we are building the right solutions and building them well.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong frontend (Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, micro‑frontends)
- Exposure to backend (Spring Boot, Java, REST, Kafka, caching) expertise, with a willingness to grow into full‑stack by developing skills in the other area.
- Solid engineering practices, including unit testing, automation, ATDD, CI/CD, and code/design reviews
- Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native development
- Collaborates effectively and communicates with clarity
- Invests in mentoring junior engineers, helping them build skills and deliver at a higher level.
- Translates high‑level requirements into scalable technical implementations.
- Comfortable navigating complex business and technical domains; investment knowledge is a plus
- Committed to high‑quality engineering and continuous learning
- Challenges the status quo, inspires team members to deliver high‑quality software productively, and influences outcomes by consistently leading through example.

The Team
You will join an Agile engineering team within Asset Management Technology (AMT), which supports Fidelity’s investment functions through modern engineering practices and scalable platforms. The team builds and enhances Asset Allocation capabilities within FAMS, partnering closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
The environment emphasizes strong engineering fundamentals such as ATDD, continuous integration and delivery, automation, and thoughtful design. You’ll help advance a technology platform that supports global investment strategies, risk Analytics, Liability Driven investment etc.,
