The Role
Do you enjoy problem solving, working with numbers, and learning how financial systems impact real people? If you’re comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have strong math skills, this role could be right for you. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of various types of financial calculations to support our Defined Benefit clients. You’ll receive structured training on pension concepts, systems, and calculations, with support from experienced team members as you build confidence in the role.
Responsibilities include:
Processing various types of calculations, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards while interpreting DB plan rules to ensure compliance with the plan document.
Supporting internal Client Service teams while developing subject matter expertise on assigned clients
Manually calculate and review pension benefits for plan participants
Contact participants to explain calculations or resolve participant/client related issues regarding pension benefits
Supporting monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases
Participate in special departmental projects
Document updates to User Procedure Documentation
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree (Mathematics, Finance, Business, or Accounting) or equivalent work experience.
