This role carries enterprise-wide responsibility for architecture alignment, governance execution, and standards adoption. The Director has direct influence over solution architecture, system design, integration patterns, and technology decisions, with significant impact on delivery quality, platform consistency, operational efficiency, resiliency, and modernization outcomes. As a key leader within the Enterprise Architecture organization, this role ensures architecture strategy is successfully translated into execution and measurable business value.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive alignment of systems, platforms, and solutions with enterprise architecture strategies and target-state roadmaps.
Translate enterprise architecture standards, principles, and policies into actionable guidance for delivery teams.
Actively participate in solution design reviews, architecture assessments, and technology evaluations.

Provide hands-on leadership in architecture analysis, solution shaping, and complex design decisions.
Lead and operationalize enterprise architecture governance processes, forums, and controls.
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, integration patterns, design principles, and governance policies.
Identify, assess, and address architectural drift, policy exceptions, technical debt, and technology risks.
Establish and maintain architecture observability practices that provide visibility into system health, resiliency, compliance, and performance.

Provide enterprise-wide visibility into technical debt, integration complexity, system resiliency, architecture health, and technology risk.
Translate architecture and operational data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
Enable fact-based tradeoff decisions across modernization, integration, platform usage, and technology investments.
Partner across Architecture, Engineering, Product, Security, and Business organizations to drive alignment and execution.
Serve as a liaison between Enterprise Architecture strategy and delivery execution.
Influence stakeholders through governance, collaboration, and data-driven communication.
Drive continuous improvement by reducing technical debt, eliminating duplication, and promoting modern architecture practices, including API-first, event-driven, cloud-native, and platform-based approaches.
