Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The primary functions of BRITE are to train BS, MS and PhD students and carry out hypothesis-driven research to fulfill NCCU’s mission to evolve into a strong research organization in biotechnology area |

Primary Purpose of Position | The Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE) at North Carolina Central University, will lead a coalition of HBCU/HAIUs, the first of its kind in NC, in the deployment of regional bioprocessing training hubs to address workforce equity in biomanufacturing. This project and the Program Manager position directly support BRITE’s workforce development mission. |

Outstanding customer service and diplomacy when interacting with project team members and sub-awardees. Results driven and manages time effectively by prioritizing tasks and managing competing priorities Applies new skills and concepts quickly and displays a willingness to learn and improve Demonstrates flexibility in responding to business demands and varying requests with ease Ability to understand and follow directions, policies & procedures, and work independently with little direct supervision Working knowledge of budget management, Excel, and understanding and generating financial statements.
