| Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The Academic Resource Management Office (ARMO) operates within the Office of Academic Affairs and supports the Provost. ARMO facilitates effective stewardship of resources by providing leadership and support to enhance administrative and fiscal operations in all areas of Academic Affairs. ARMO develops a comprehensive divisional budget and personnel model to provide integrated resource planning and analysis, and ensuring data capabilities that supports leadership decision-making and reporting requirements with strategic objectives of the division and University. The office works in close coordination with campus partners to guide, refine, and interpret major policies and process areas that have significant impact on the division to promote student success, efficiency, accountability, and appropriate cost and procedural controls. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | Under the supervision of the Associate Provost of Academic Budget and Personnel, the Finance and Analytics Officer will provide leadership to support data-driven decision-making through effective development, analysis, monitoring and record-keeping of budgetary activities for the Division of Academic Affairs. The primary duties of this position is related to the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of fiscal and business processes, including budget reconciliation, expenditure and budget transfers, department spending and purchasing activity reconciliation. The Finance and Analytics Officer serves as a source of procedural knowledge; therefore, problem-solving and strong attention to detail are essential to this role. In addition, the ability to communicate effectively, to be flexible, and exhibit a positive and professional attitude directly contributes to the success of the entire team. |

| Minimum Education/Experience | Bachelor’s degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or Associate’s degree in Accounting; or Associate’s degree in Business or related discipline with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
