| Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The University College works solely with first year, sophomores and transfers to promote academic success, retention, and graduation. We support the goal of graduation within four years by ensuring students take advantage of the full range of services available at North Carolina Central University. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | The Business Officer is a key member of the University College dean’s executive leadership team. The position reports directly to the Dean. The position works at the highest level on matters related to the College’s academic programs and in support of the College’s growing efforts to support student success. In addition, works with and advises University College Title III units and programs on matters related to academic unit budgeting, human resource management, and provides staff development. The position provides accurate interpretation of fiscal policies at the state, federal, University and college level. |
