As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC’s MIS Finance/Accounting organization. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Costing and Fixed Asset Software Engineer Principal to support our organization's financial management and project accounting needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Oracle EBS (R12) or Cloud applications and demonstrate the ability to implement, configure, and optimize project costing and fixed asset modules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for project costing and fixed asset management.
• Configure and implement Oracle Project Costing and Fixed Asset modules to meet business needs.
• Provide expertise in project accounting processes, asset management, and cost control.
• Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure functional requirements are met.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to project costing and asset management.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
• Stay updated on Oracle best practices and updates related to project costing and fixed assets.
• Create and debug BIP Reports on Oracle cloud modules.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Project Costing and Fixed Assets.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools; familiarity with BI Publisher is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Oracle certification in Project Costing or Fixed Assets.
• Experience in project lifecycle management and related financial processes.
• Knowledge of integration with other Oracle modules (e.g., Procurement, Inventory, General Ledger).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management tools.
