We are seeking an Investor Relations Intern to join our Development, Impact & Policy (DPI) Team!
Are you interested in community development, impact investing, and economic justice? Self-Help is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Investor Relations Intern to join our team for the summer. This position will provide a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investor relations, data management, and mission-driven financial services. The intern will assist with ongoing investor stewardship and data projects while gaining insights into impact investing and community development finance.
WHAT You’ll Do:
The intern will co-lead the drafting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Investor Relations team to support the workflow of relationship management, onboarding, account maintenance, etc., for Mission Supportive Depositors.
Process Mapping and Gap Analysis-The intern will create visual process maps of key workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, or undocumented steps.
Ensures that each documented process accurately reflects real-world practices and highlights potential areas for improvement.
The intern will develop a timeline for periodic reviews of SOPs as new organizational changes occur, for example, semi-annual or annual reviews
