Please review the following job description:

  • Own a portfolio of technology and business process models and procedures, functioning as a SME within process vertical and display mastery of industry specific knowledge.
  • Responsible for sampling and monitoring of assigned processes in relation to defined KPIs.
  • Report and track KPI metrics and identify bottlenecks/process variations causing KPI’s to be missed.
  • Work with operations partners to identify opportunities and structure abstract questions or issues into manageable, specific work streams and deliverables.
  • Lead and facilitate sessions to set direction and create change for business processes from a technological and workflow perspective.
  • Design and implement process-oriented IT solutions and ensure adequate change management and adoption across all levels of the organization. Provide oversight and ensure overall quality of junior teammates' key tasks and delivery.
  • Enable cross-functional alignment and resolve or escalate risks or roadblocks prohibiting achievement of identified scope.
  • Train and support Production groups to ensure awareness and adoption of the target state.
  • Own improvement process benefit expectation and realization. Measure and monitor ROI of process improvement projects to ensure organizational efficiency and profitability.
  • Facilitate and build relationships internal and external to the business unit to ensure initiative success.
  • Provide the appropriate reporting to facilitate communication with regulatory governing bodies and Audit to ensure understanding of the organization's strategic direction and to provide periodic briefings/status updates.

Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus 8 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or IT consulting positions. In the alternative, employer will accept 10 years of experience in systems engineering or IT consulting positions.
  • Must have 8 years of experience with the following:
    • Providing technical solutions for big data management, Enterprise data warehouse and BI solutions.
    • Providing technical and thought leadership to the team of developers and engineers.
    • Designing, developing, integrating and testing ETL data pipelines and systems.
    • Providing architectural design of ETL methodology.
    • Performing data engineering and designing strategy to manage large data volumes.
    • Applying understanding of data analytics life cycle methodologies including data cleansing and preparation methodologies.
    • Planning and managing IT projects; Prepare reports and ensure the project is on track by coordinating with cross functional teams.
    • Utilizing the following: SQL; Relational Databases; ETL/ELT architecture and concepts; data integration concepts and big data concepts; Hadoop; Cloudera Data Platform (CDP); Snowflake; Hive; Informatica DEI; and Python.
  • Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Raleigh, NC. Must be available to travel to Raleigh, NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
